Hytera HyTalk

Wide-area push-to-talk and video streaming app for Hytera LTE bodycams and communication handsets

Hytera HyTalk enables all of the features typically found in a professional-grade narrowband trunked radio system over broadband wide area networks. It takes advantage of the higher bandwidth with features not previously possible with traditional radio systems, such as real time HD video streaming.

Body-worn camera users can now live stream their video feeds either to colleagues spread out over wide-areas or broadcast to a control room in real time.

How does it work?

HyTalk systems can be set up in several ways depending on each individual requirement. For the end-user, these include hosting their own HyTalk server either using cloud hosting, self hosting or Hytera-provided server hardware, or subscribing to a HyTalk server hosted by an authorised HyTalk reseller partner.

With all options, the core package comes with 100 user licences. Pricing for all users is dependent on whether the end-user requires only voice & GPS (applicable for communication terminals such as PNC380, PNC550) or voice, GPS & video (applicable for VM580D, VM780 bodycams).

PLEASE NOTE – HyTalk is priced on a project basis. For guidance on how to specify and price a HyTalk system, please contact Gareth Jones on 01489 287 287 or
