New Additions to Team Syndico!
We are delighted to announce two brand new members of Team Syndico who have started over the past two weeks.
We’ve invested in new personnel within our Sales and Partner Solutions teams to ensure we can continue providing first-class support as the PMR industry grows. Kane Brewer joins our Sales department as a Business Development Executive, and Rachel Barnes joins our Partner Solutions as a Business Administration apprentice.
Kane will be working closely with Gareth Jones to provide day-to-day account management and sales support to our reseller channel. Over the next few months, Kane’s knowledge base will be firmly built around body-worn cameras, Hytera next-generation handsets and push-to-talk over cellular. As the PMR market expands and introduces new products and technologies, Kane will be on hand to help the reseller channel bring the latest products into their range and maximise their sales opportunities.
As the number of orders, shipments and inbound enquiries increase, Rachel will be on hand to give first-line support to all our partners. Whilst also working towards an apprenticeship in Business Administration, Rachel will be also responsible for processing customer orders and helping the warehouse to ship over 98% of orders the same day.

Job Title: Business Development Executive
What are your main roles and responsibilities? I will be responsible for helping our reseller partners expand their business opportunities into new channels with all the great products Syndico offers. I’ll be spending a lot of my time initially getting to know our resellers and building my product knowledge – I’ve already received lots of product training and I’m excited to become an expert on all-things Hytera and PoC!
What previous experience will help you in your new role? I studied Business Marketing at degree-level and gained plenty of retail sales experience during my previous job at Legoland. I’m really excited to start a role in distribution, with my marketing experience I understand the value of distribution and I empathise with our resellers and the challenges they face with end-user sales.
What are your hobbies outside of work? When I’m not at work I’m interested in all things sports and all things science!
Job Title: Business Administration Apprentice
What are your main roles and responsibilities? I am studying for an apprenticeship in Business Administration, so I’ll be completing coursework-based assignments about my work at Syndico. Day-to-day, I’ll be processing orders, monitoring deliveries and helping the warehouse when it gets really busy. You will also hear me answering the phone a lot!
What previous experience will help you in your new role? I have worked at Syndico a few times before, both during work experience and on a temporary contract before deciding to do my apprenticeship here.
What are your hobbies outside of work? I’m very creative so I love all things art and photography!
